Grammy award-winning singer/songwriter Miguel will be speaking on a panel alongside Tangible Movement founder, president, and executive director Torri Shack this Sunday, May 19 at 7:20 pm at WE RISE LA. The talk is titled “Suicide + The Semicolon”,  and will also feature panelists Stan Collns, Kevin Hines, and Chris Rountree. WE RISE is a free event that brings together artists, activists, service providers, and community members to raise awareness about available resources. It was designed to support a sense of belonging, meaning, and purpose. WE RISE will feature educational workshops, exciting performances, community town halls, intimate conversations, and a world-class art gallery full of contemplative, inspiring art. This task force, organized by the Suicide Prevention Resource Center (SPRC) and supported by the Education Development Center (EDC), was dedicated to addressing the pressing need for a robust and effective suicide prevention infrastructure at the local level.
