Bianca will share professional insights on recognizing warning signs, using inclusive and trauma-informed language, and becoming a compassionate steward for mental health in your community. Attendees will leave with actionable tools and critical suicide prevention knowledge.

Torri Shack

CEO & Founder, Tangible Movement
A two-time suicide attempt survivor, trans advocate, and mental health leader, Torri brings raw lived experience to the conversation. Learn how to cultivate resilience, embrace your identity unapologetically, and protect your mental well-being in today’s divisive climate.

Laura Hernandez

Director of Program Development, The LGBTQ Center
Laura will facilitate interactive role-playing and guided scenarios, helping attendees gain the confidence to: ask someone if they’re experiencing suicidal thoughts,
Address bullying and microaggressions, Use correct pronouns and foster inclusive environments and Access local support and crisis resources

The Pride Tree will be distributing “banned LGBTQ books” to attendees—offering education, visibility, and resistance through literature.
